Yesterday in science, we did a fun lab, testing how indicators react to acids and bases. We started with 8 small bowls full of red cabbage juice, which was our indicator. Then we used different acids and bases, such as lemon juice, glass cleaner (ammonia), and vinegar. The indicator would change to different colors than the dark purple it started as, such as a light pink, a gorgeous aqua, and a brilliant light purple.
